The Operator application is available in two variants;
“Go Connect Attendant – Standalone edition” and “Go Connect Attendant – Server edition”.
- The Standalone edition has both the client and server elements of the solution installed on the operator’s PC, which makes a direct connection to the Panasonic system. Standalone as the name suggests supports a single operator on a single site and is designed for simple applications, the Standalone Operator does not support messaging or multi-site operation.
- The Server Edition has just the client application installed on the operator’s PC, which then makes a connection to the Go Connect server. This version is required if multi operators, messaging, integration into Go Connect or multi-site features are required.
Go Connect Attendant is a full screen client applications designed to make the operator phone easier and more convenient to use.
Both versions are fully featured PC Console application also incorporating many of the benefits of Go Connect e.g.
- Extension status
- messaging (chat) (Server Edition only only)
- web page dialing and
- full CRM / DB integration for both directory searching, dialing and contact popping (as supported by Go Connect CRM).
Server edition also supports multi-site operation enabling an operator on a single site to distribute calls to other connected sites (please note this does require prior set up of Go Connect site).
- Go Connect Attendant can be set up to monitor an Operator ICD queue as well as the Operator’s handset. This allows the Operator to have view of all calls waiting in the queue.
- When telephone system is configured appropriately, waiting calls can be answered in any order.
- the “Auto tab” will auto-populate with any extensions the caller has spoken to in recent history (normally 60 days) The Auto tab will also show caller preview data for any integrated CRM / DB application.
- Other extensions can be monitored and controlled allowing “Boss / Secretary” type features
- Calls can be controlled using the keyboard, mouse (including call “drag and drop” or from a touch screen monitor.
